Hi there,

I was wondering whether or not NCIX will be doing any preorders for Ryzen?

Thanks!

I was wondering this too... NCIX isn't in the AMD press release, but will there be preorders available at 1pm Eastern, like with the other retailers?

Sussed out release is 1:30 EST so 10:30 PST it might be unlocked.

F5 keys get ready!

130 select  retailers, I'd be surprised if NCIX wasn't one of them, because chicken embryo definitely will be.

I have, on good authority, some prices...

Ryzen 7 1700 w/Spire Cooler - $440ish
Ryzen 7 1700X w/o cooler - $530ish
Ryzen 7 1800X w/o cooler - $700ish

Definitly getting an 1800X with spire cooler. It has rgb, all the better to add to my already very tacky rgb build :D

Wooo! Preorders are up! $15 more than the 1800X at "the competition" but I'm sure that's just a placeholder for the pre-order listing. I did it, though! I pre-ordered my 1800X! Oh man... Very excited but also realizing I now need to get a motherboard... and some ram... and a case... and a power supply... and an SSD wouldn't be a bad idea...

Literally the only other part I have is the RX480 you guys have on sale today. :/

I'll likely have a bunch of dumb questions since the last PC I built had an Athlon XP in it, so bear with me over the next couple weeks.

Crazy motherboard prices though   <_<

Edit: Oh these are just kinda the promo material ones. Decent list here, and not 400$ ones lol.

The 1700 has the stock cooler, but not the 1700x or 1800x.

The stock cooler, no.

We're getting some more AM4 coolers added today.

amd just trying to save some money.
most people who buy the top tier setups end up dumping the stock coolers for aftermarket ones or go water cooling. they are in it for the performance and will tweak the parts for maximum gains anyways so why pre package coolers that end up thrown out.

The XFR feature of the top end Ryzen's require a high quality cooling solution in order for the feature to be enabled.

The mobile site recached its results before the main site.

It should show up in this page now:

buying a motherboard without knowing for sure if it will support my 3000mhz ddr4 could be a dumb move.
i want the GIGABYTE GA-AX370-GAMING 5 AM4 AMD X370 but i cant find any info on the ddr4 clock speeds
ive already seen am4 boards that only support up to 2666 or so

WILL YOU GUYS BE UPDATING THE SPECS ON THE MOTHERBOARDS?
